Elasmosaurus Fishing

Level 2 Little Explorer Ages 4 to 6 · Bold simple detail Level 2/5
Tested by kids aged 4 to 6
Meet the Elasmosaurus, an ancient sea reptile with one of the longest necks ever to exist. This graceful marine creature uses its impossibly lengthy neck to dive down and snatch fish from the ocean depths, shown here surrounded by small bubbles and smaller fish. Kids will love discovering how this gentle giant hunted beneath prehistoric waves.
Coloring tip

Use cool blues and teals for the water and bubbles to create an underwater feeling. Color the Elasmosaurus in grays or greens, and make the small fish different colors to show they're the prey—oranges, yellows, and reds work great for contrast against the ocean tones.
