There is very little detail inside the jersey and the backgrounds stay open, so a five year old can finish one with markers. The realistic action poses have folded fabric, court lines, and small details on the shoes, which suit older kids with colored pencils.

Indiana Fever wear red, navy, and gold. Red across the body of the jersey with navy trim and gold accents is the closest match, and the same three colors carry over to the shorts. If you want the away version instead, swap the red for white and keep the navy and gold where the trim sits.

Keep the floor a pale wood tone and press lightly. Court pages have a lot of surface area, and filling it with strong color pulls attention away from the player or the center logo. Save the darker shades for the key, the center circle, and the lines themselves.

Orange across the whole ball first, then go over the seam lines in dark brown or black once the orange is down. Doing the lines first means smudging them, and leaving a small patch of white where the light would hit makes the ball look round instead of flat.
