Young Simba pounces playfully on a pile of leaves, with his tail raised in the air and his mouth open in joy. Gnarled tree branches frame the scene above, and scattered leaves and grass fill the ground around him. This captures the carefree spirit of the lion cub before his adventures truly begin.
Coloring tip

Use warm golds and oranges for Simba's fur, then add rich browns and reds to the fallen leaves to create contrast. Keep the background light so the playful cub really stands out from the page.
